Music Maestro Ilayaraja recently made his debut in Lodon with his symphony titled 'Valiant'  on 8 March In the process, he became the first Indian to do so. Ilayaraja returned back to India and he is getting flooded with wishes from all quarters.

Already PM Modi, Tamil Nadu CM Stalin congratulated him and also Stalin promised to felicitate him in the Assembly. Now, Rajya Sabha honored Ilayaraja. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar honored Ilayaraja in the Rajya Sabha.

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar praised Ilayaraja saying "It is a privilege to honour Shri Ilaiyaraaja ji, a legendary composer, whose music has shaped Indian cinema for over five decades, revered as Isaignani." He continued "The musical genius, his extraordinary mastery of blending classical traditions with contemporary sounds, has given rise to timeless melodies that transcend generations and borders. His compositions are much beyond songs - these are deeply felt emotions that have touched millions."

Vice President remembered Ilayaraja's music and the number of songs and said it is a testament to his global stardom and talent..
