Raghava Lawrence To Take On Rajinikanth In Thalaivar 171 ?

Superstar Rajinikanth has scored his career biggest hit Jailer when it seems everything came to a halt for him. This miraculous turnout of Thalaivar has brought him back into the game. He has completed shooting for his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth's directorial Laal Salaam which is slated to release for Pongal. 

Rajini has already started shooting for his next Thalaivar 170 in Jai Bhim fame Gnanavel's direction. Amitabh Bachchan is playing another key role in the film while reports suggest that Rana Daggubati will be seen in a grey shaded role while Fahadh Faasil is playing Rajinikanth's son role in the film. Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh and Dushara Vijayan are doing other important roles. 

Thalaivar 171 is also announced in Lokesh Kanagaraj's Direction while Sun Pictures which bankrolled Jailer is backing this film. Lokesh has already hinted that this would not be a part of his much hyped LCU. The film will hit the floors from March next year. Knowing the working style of Lokesh in wrapping films faster, many say that the film will be ready to release for Diwali next year.

Raghava Lawrence As Villain

Interesting news that has been doing rounds is that Rajinikanth's loyal fan, choreographer turned director turned Hero Raghava Lawrence has been approached to do the villain role in the film. It is yet to be known about whether he is onboard or not. But, knowing his love for Rajinikanth, he would not miss the opportunity to do key role in his demigod's film. Raghava Lawrence's upcoming release is Jigarthanda Double Barrel which also stars SJ Suryah. The film will hit the screens this Diwali.
