Karthi To Join Hands With Pa. Ranjith

Karthi and director Pa Ranjith delivered a highly impressive Madras. Now they are ready to join hands again. The title of this upcoming project is still a secret, but it will be produced by Studio Green, the very production house that stood ubehind their previous collaboration, 'Madras.'

Back in 2014, 'Madras', receiving critical acclaim and emerged as box office success. It captured the lives and struggles of the residents of North Chennai, a narrative that resonated deeply with audiences. Alongside Karthi, the film featured Catherine Tresa, Kalaiyarasan, and Rama.

According to reports, there is still time for the official announcement. The film will be announced Grandly on September 26, 2024, which marks the 10th anniversary of the release of 'Madras.' Meanwhile both Pa. Ranjith and Karthi will complete their ongoing projects.

Meanwhile, Pa Ranjith, will complete his film with Vikram, Thangalan which is bankrolled by Studio Green. On the other side, Karthi is awaiting the release of 'Japan,' directed by Raju Murugan. This funky comedy entertainer is expected to release on Diwali 2023.
