Finally Sreenu Vaitla Is Making His Comeback

Sreenu Vaitla who became a director 25 years ago with Ravi Teja starrer Nee Kosam has won Nandi Award for best debut director. With Anandam he scored biggest blockbuster and made Sontham, Anandamanandamaye films. But, his big breakthrough came with Ravi Teja's Venky which is still popular for its punches and comedy scenes. 

Then he got opportunity to direct Chiranjeevi with Andarivaadu. Though the film became a failure, Vaitla's mark of comedy became popular. He made his comeback with Dhee, Dubai Seenu and Ready. Then he did films with seniors heroes, King with Nagarjuna and Om Namo Venkatesaya with Venkatesh. 

With Dookudu starring Superstar Mahesh, Sreenu Vaitla became a star director and his next film Baadshah with NTR too became a superhit. But, since then he faced a series of setbacks with Aagadu, Bruce Lee, and Mister. His last film Amar Akbar Anthony with Ravi Teja was released five years ago.

Since then he is trying to get a film but nothing works. Sequel to Dhee, with Vishnu Manchu D Square was announced and shelved. Then news came out about his collaboration with Gopichand. But, that too kept on back burner. After Gopichand's previous two films, Pakka Commercial and Ramabanam became duds, He once again revived his project with Sreenu Vaitla. Currently Vaitla is busy with final touches to the script. The official announcement will be made soon.
