With regard to the prevailing drought conditions across the State, the Prp chief is of the opinion that the response of the State Government is very said. “The ruling party is taking it easy on the scanty rainfall. The Chief Minister, Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, is adopting a completely negligent attitude towards the prevailing drought conditions in the State,” he said. Mr Chiranjeevi said “Had the elections are round the corner, the Chief Minister would have come running to you with solutions to the issue. Since the polls are now over, the Chief Minister is not bothered to meet you at this time of crisis,” he remarked.

He demanded the State Government to hand over to the CBCID the probe into the missing of valuable ornaments of Lord Venkateswara. “Under the Congress regime, even Gods have to be careful with their ornaments. The Almighty Himself is feeling insecure in the Congress regime,” he observed. Accompanied by Prp activists, Mr Chiranjeevi later left for Tekkali by a Volvo bus.
