Laalo Remake Buzz Gains Momentum Across South India

Gujarati film Laalo: Krishna Sada Sahaayate has emerged as a surprise success, generating considerable interest for possible remakes in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada. Despite growing speculation, the makers have clarified that no remake rights have been officially sold. Discussions with several production houses are continuing across languages.
Laalo co-producer Jay Vyas, producer Ajay Padariya and director Ankit Sakhiya confirmed that multiple offers are being evaluated. Jay reportedly stated that claims about a confirmed remake deal are incorrect, as no agreement has been signed or rights transferred. The producers may take one to two months before reaching a final decision.
Several star names, including Allu Arjun, Vijay Deverakonda and Ram Charan, have surfaced in reports surrounding potential Telugu remake proposals. However, the Laalo team has not confirmed any of these casting rumours. Director Ankit Sakhiya maintained that official details cannot be disclosed while discussions with prospective producers remain underway.
Laalo follows a struggling rickshaw driver who becomes trapped inside an isolated farmhouse, forcing him to confront guilt and painful memories. His encounters with spiritual visions of Lord Krishna gradually transform his outlook. The film’s emotional storytelling and spiritual themes have fueled remake interest, while producers collectively evaluate offers from different industries.
