Naidu to meet KCR today

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will meet his Telangana counterpart K. Chandrashekar Rao at 5 PM on Sunday to invite him for the foundation stone laying ceremony of Amravati, the new capital of Andhra Pradesh.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of Amravati city on October 22. Naidu is personally inviting prominent personalities including Union Ministers and Chief Ministers of different States. Naidu's office on Saturday called up KCR's office seeking appointment. In a few hours, Telangana CMO officials reverted back informing that the AP Chief Minister could visit at 5 PM.

The Andhra Pradesh Government has constituted a committed comprising of ministers to distribute the invitation cards. The committee members including Ch. Ayyana Patrudu and K. Srinivas, on Saturday handed over invitation cards to different leaders including Deputy Speaker Padma Devender Reddy, Council Chairman Swamy Goud, Leaders of Opposition K. Jana Reddy and Mohammed Ali Shabbir, APCC President Dr. N. Raghuveera Reddy, Jana Sena Party leader Pavan Kalyan among others.
