TDP senior leader Gali Muddu Krishnamma Naidu on Monday accused Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy of sabotaging the agitation for Samaikhyandhra launched by different organisations including the APNGOs.
Speaking to media persons at the Telugu Desam Legislature Party office here, Muddu alleged that Kiran Kumar Reddy has ended the Samaikhyandhra agitation at the instance of AICC President Sonia Gandhi. He said that had the APNGOs strike continued for some more time, the southern power grid would have collapsed plunging the entire south India into darkness. This would have forced the Centre to reconsider its decision on Telangana issue. He alleged that the Chief Minster was enacting the drama of resignation and new party at the instance of Sonia Gandhi.
Muddu also alleged that the Chief Minister was clearing several controversial files by continuing on the post.
Referring to the remarks of former minsiter Mohammad Ali Shabbir wherein the latter threatened to slap TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu for his remarks against Sonia Gandhi, Muddu said that Shabbir Ali's remarks were derogatory and provocative. He demanded Shabbir Ali to withdraw the remarks. Else, he threatened that the TDP activists would organise a strong protest against him.
