Former minister Dr P Shankar Rao claimed that the Congress High Command would take stern action against Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy in the next three days.
Speaking to media persons in the Assembly premises here on Saturday, Shankar Rao said that the Congress High Command has already made up its mind to sack Kiran Kumar Reddy and a final decision in this regard might be announced soon. He also alleged that it was Kiran Kumar Reddy who fielded Adala Prabhakar Reddy as a rebel candidate in the Rajya Sabha elections. However, Adala's candidature was withdrawn after sensing that he would lose the elections.
Shankar Rao said that the weakness of Kiran Kumar Reddy could be understood from the fact that he could not get his close associate Adala elected from a Rajya Sabha seat. Therefore, he said Kiran and all his supporters would lose their deposits in next elections if they act against the Congress party.
