VHR equates Kiran with Modi

Congress Rajya Sabha MP V Hanumantha Rao has alleged that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy ranks second after his Gujarat counterpart Narendra Modi in spreading false propaganda.

Speaking to media persons here on Wednesday, VHR said that the Chief Minister tried all means to halt the process of Telangana formation. In the end, he tried to instill fear among the people by predicting water wars and spurt in naxal violence. He accused Kiran Kumar Reddy of misusing his position to spread falsehood. He said that Kiran's regime would go into the history as the Dark Ages due to his false propaganda.

VHR asked as to why Kiran Kumar Reddy was silent when former Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy submitted a report in favour of Telangana. Accusing him of exploiting the sentiments of people of Seemandhra region, he advised the Chief Minister to abide by the decision of the Congress High Command.

The Congress MP also ridiculed the claims that Hyderabad was developed by people and leaders of Seemandhra region. He said Hyderabad was developed by the last Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan who was also the richest man of the world.
