The Telugu Desam Party has alleged that the Centre was proposing a special package for Telangana region on the advise of TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Addressing a press conference at NTR Trust Bhavan here, former minister and senior TDP leader E Peddi Reddy alleged that the proposed package was designed by the Congress party in consultation with the TRS leadership. He said that the TRS party has entered into a secret agreement with the Congress High Command ensuring its support for the candidature of AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi for the Prime Minister's post after the next elections.
Peddi Reddy said that KCR never targeted Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi over the Telangana issue and people should understand KCR's nexus with the ruling party.
