Twin Blast: Death toll increases to 16

The death toll in Dilsukhnagar Twin Blast has increased to 16 on Friday.

Two persons, who were injured in the bomb blast at Dilsukhnagar on Thursday evening, succumbed to injuries on Friday morning. While Giri, a resident of Nalgonda, died at the Osmania General Hospital, Chodaram Rajaji, a native of Rajasthan, succumbed at Yashoda Hospital.

It may be mentioned that Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde had earlier confirmed the death of 14 people due to Twin Blast. A total of 119 people were also injured in two blasts.

Those killed on Thursday night include Mohd Rafeeq (Patancheru), Ijaz Ahmed (Kothaguda), Vijay Kumar (MBA student), Mutyala Raju (MBA student), A Ramulu     (OU area), R Shivani (Dislshuknagar), Gunta Thirupathi (Warangal) and Srinivas Reddy.                   

While 29 people are undergoing treatment at the OGH, 15 were admitted in Yashoda Hospital, 26 in Omni Hospital, six in Savitha Hospital, 11 Kamala Hospital, four in Kamineni Hospital and 26 have been admitted in Care Hospital at Nampally. The condition of four persons is said to be critical.
