PJR's daughter Vijaya joins YSR Congress

Former PCC President P Janardhan Reddy’s daughter Vijaya Reddy on Sunday joined YSR Congress party in the presence of party’s Honorary president Vijaya Lakshmi and announced that she would work hard to bring the party to power in 2014 general elections.

Earlier, Vijaya Reddy reached Lotus Pond in a huge convey of his supporters and met YSR Congress Party Honorary President Vijaya Lakshmi where she was welcomed by the later and presented a party Khandwa.

Later, talking to media persons Vijaya Lakshmi said that P Janardhan Reddy has lived his life fighting to resolve the problems being faced by the public. He was actively involved in public welfare even before entering the electoral politics as a union leader. It is an enjoyable moment that his daughter Vijaya Reddy has also started her political career by joining YSR Congress Party today, she said.

Vijayamma also appealed to all the supporters of PJR to join the YSRCP for the development and growth of the State.

Talking to reporters later, Vijaya Reddy said that she has joined the YSR Congress party for the welfare of the people and would strive hard to bring justice to the masses. She assured that she would work hard to resolve the problems of the people under the leadership of party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
