The counting of votes for the Kadapa by-elections will be held in JMJ Junior College for Girls, Kadapa on May 13 as per schedule.
Chief Electoral Officer Bhanwar Lal told media persons at the Secretariat on Thursday that the repolling in polling booth No 108 at Bellammandi, Kadapa was conducted peacefully.
The CEO further said that as part of security measures put in place, two companies were kept to
facilitate free and fair polling.
Mr Bhanwar Lal further said that out of 905 voters in the polling booth, 619 exercised their voting rights, registering 68.39 percentage of polling.
The repolling was necessitated due to defects in the Electronic Voting Machines during polling period on May 8.
