CM Revanth Reddy fires on Allu Arjun, bans special shows, ticket hikes. Telangana CM Revanth Reddy once again showed his anger in the assembly against Icon Star Allu Arjun over the Pushpa The Rule premier stampede at Sandhya Theatre which resulted in the death of a housewife.
He attacked entire Tollywood for rushing to Allu Arjun's house after his release and at the same time completely ignoring the bereaved family whose small kid is still battling life in the hospital. Speaking in the Telangana assembly, Revanth Reddy thundered "Is Allu Arjun even human? Are there people like this in the world?" He added "The DCP warned him that failure to leave would necessitate his arrest, following which the actor was forcibly escorted into a car,"
He mocked entire Tollywood and said “Did his hand or leg break? Why is the film industry rushing to meet him at his house? But no one visited the grieving family.
He warned Tollywood saying “Is this what expected of seniors in the industry,” and added “You do business and take incentives from us to strengthen the industry but you can’t be inhuman,”
He questioned "What should one think of a person who behaves this way even after such a tragedy?" He went on to add “As long as I am the Chief Minister, there will be no benefit shows or increases in ticket prices,”
