Balakrishna on rampage in AP Assembly. The first day of the monsoon session at the Andhra Pradesh Assembly was marred by chaos and disruptions. TDP planned to raise the arrest of the party chief Chandra Babu Naidu in the assembly.

Telugu Desam MLAs, in protest, occupied Speaker Tammineni Seetharam's podium, brandishing placards and tossing paper. Amidst this commotion, Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna drew attention by twirling his mustache while on the podium. Irrigation Minister Ambati Rambabu intervened to restore order, leading to a heated exchange between the two lawmakers.

Consequently, the Speaker took action, suspending three TDP MLAs, namely Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy, Anagani Sathya Prasad, and Payyavula Kesav, while others faced a one-day suspension. Balakrishna received a warning for his 'unparliamentary' conduct, with the Speaker considering it a first-time offense.

Additionally, the Speaker announced that the Assembly disciplinary committee would investigate and address the damages caused by TDP members to the Assembly property. Following their suspension, TDP members continued to protest outside the Speaker's chambers and boycotted the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting.
