Mahesh Babu Breaks his Strategic Silence

Superstar Mahesh Babu is an avid film watcher. He watches all new films at his home only. He has built a theatre at his home solely for watching new films on its release day itself. Mahesh also shares his opinion about the film on Twitter. It has even become a norm that his fans and movie lovers waited for his word on new releases. Mahesh shared his opinions on his social media handle until Kamala Haasan's Vikram last year. Then due to unfortunate events at his home he stayed away from the social media for sometime.

Mahesh has become active since December with a pic of himself from mountain dew ad. He wished RRR team on their historic win of Golden Globe Award. He wished for New Year and Sankranthi too. Everyone thought that he will wish and post about Sankranthi releases Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy. But, to everyone's surprise Mahesh stayed away from Sankranthi releases. Many waited for his tweet about his friend, director Vamshi Paidipally's Tamil debut Varisu. But, Mahesh chose to remain silent about new releases. Today Mahesh tweeted about small film Writer Padmabhushan 's trailer wishing the entire team a success. It was produced by Anurag and Sharath who were also one of the producers for Mahesh's production Major starring Adivi Sesh.

With today's tweet, it is clear that Mahesh has maintained a strategic Silence about Sankranthi releases. It seems like if he tweets about one film, he must post about all other movies also. Otherwise it will be another discussion point why he chose to tweet about a particular film and avoided others. To avoid such situation on a whole Mahesh seems distanced himself from this year's Sankranthi releases.
