The Kashmir Files film created a sensation across the country for its hard-hitting and powerful portrayal of the genocide of Hindus in The Kashmir Valley during the 90s. Though the opposition parties attacked the makers and accused them of trying to break the secular fabric of the country, movie lovers turned the film into a stunning hit.

According to the latest, The Kasmir Files is honored at the International Film Festival of India which is going on at Goa. The film was screened today in auditorium 2, Inox, Panjim after it was selected under the Indian Panorama section. The film was earlier selected for  'Seattle Film Festival and the 'Awareness Film Festival.

Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi, Darshan Kumaar, and Mithun Chakraborty played important roles in the film directed by Vivek Agnihotri. The film is produced by Abhishek Agarwal. Anupam Kher and Abhishek Agarwal attended the IFFI event today.
