Senior Telugu actor, Potti Veeraiah, popular for playing dwarf roles, has passed away after battling from prolonged illness. Potti Veeraiah died at 73 after he suffered from a heart stroke. The news was confirmed by his family members, the last rites will take place on Monday.
Numerous celebrities including Chiranjeevis send condolences to Potti Veeraiah’s bereaved family. The deceased actor had on numerous occasions told Chiranjeevi had helped him financially. Hailing from Telangana’s Suryapet, Veeraiah made his acting debut with Vittalacharya’s 1967 film ‘Aggi Dora’.
Some of his popular films are ‘Jaganmohini’, ‘Jaganmohini’, ‘Yugandhar’, ‘Tatha Manavadu’, ‘Gaja Donga’, ‘Gola Nagamma’, ‘Radhamma Pelli’ and ‘Tatha Manavadu’.
