Deepika played opposite Azharuddin

Glamour alone doesn’t serve for the beautiful babes in Bollywood. Heroines like Deepika Padukone who are even sports personalities would love to give their movies a special publicity by actively participating in these sport events. Yesterday was one such publicity stunt by her latest release ‘House Full’ which has Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal, Riteish Deshmukh, Lara Dutta and Jiah Khan in the lead.

Deepika showed her towards the sports by participating in a T10 match with Akshay Kumar team against a Mohammed Azharuddin team at a Mumbai suburban club. Apparently Deepika was the only one girl with Akki’s team and that may be the reason that their team lost to Azzu Bhai’s. ‘It went really well. I was the only girl in our team who played. I batted, bowled, fielded,’ said Deepika indirectly targeting her arch rival Lara Dutta.
