Krishna Vamsi has come up with many good films and he is known as a creative director. All his films are intense dramas and he brings out the best of tradition and heritage and the good and bad in society in all his films. So when he came up with the film Mogudu the expectations were naturally very high. The end result was however a little disappointing.
The parents of the hero and heroine fight over a small issue. The hero and heroine separate over a silly issue soon after marriage. The hero and the heroine then come together with a silly act by the heroine. So one cannot but wonder if this was indeed a Krishna Vamsi film. Where was the need for such a big build up when the hero and heroine were to forget everything and reunite just because Tapsee consumes poison and wants to die? The Krishna Vamsi mark is totally missing in the film.
