Evil Dead Burn made history as India became its top opening weekend market worldwide. The horror film earned Rs 15.36 crore gross and Rs 12.60 crore net, marking 2026’s biggest horror debut in India. It’s the first Hollywood title to top globally from India.
The film opened with Rs 0.65 crore from paid previews, then grew to Rs 3.31 crore on Friday, Rs 5.35 crore on Saturday and Rs 6.05 crore on Sunday. Strong word of mouth, premium formats and franchise fanbase drove the steady rise.
