Dhurandhar underperforming in Japan

Dhurandhar underperforming in Japan. Ranveer Singh's action entertainer Dhurandhar directed by Aditya Dhar turned out to be a biggest hit in the country.
The film was released with much fanfare in Japan and the makers expected it to perform strongly. However, the initial reports show otherwise. Dhurandhar which released in Japan on July 10, failed to make an impact on its opening day, following the trend set by Pushpa 2, which also underperformed in the mark
Dhurandhar failed to enter Japan's top 25 rankings on its first day. The film showed early promise by recording 449 admissions till 2 p.m. across 57 locations. However, collections slowed significantly during the second half of the day despite the film being screened at 80 locations.
The weak opening also meant that Dhurandhar could not secure a place among the top 10 Indian films with the highest opening-day footfalls in Japan.
Dhurandhar starred Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and Sara Arjun in important roles.
