Is Prabhas Fauzi India One Of The Costliest Film

Prabhas is teaming up with Hanu Raghavapudi for Fauzi, a period war drama reportedly budgeted at ₹500 to ₹600 crore. If confirmed, it will rank among India’s most expensive films. Mythri Movie Makers is producing this massive project with global scale and VFX.
Set in pre-Independence India, Fauzi casts Prabhas as a soldier. The makers are building huge period sets, practical war equipment, and large-scale action blocks. Vishal Chandrasekhar scores the music. Trade reports say action choreography and VFX work is being handled by international technicians.
Imanvi plays the female lead opposite Prabhas. The ensemble includes Anupam Kher, Jaya Prada, Mithun Chakraborty, and Chaitra J Achar in key roles. Current schedule focuses on high-octane battle sequences filmed across massive outdoor sets to capture authentic 1940s atmosphere.
Digital and satellite rights are already drawing strong interest ahead of release. Fans expect a teaser soon as production moves fast. With Prabhas’ pan-India pull and Hanu’s storytelling, Fauzi aims for a record opening. Official release date and first look are awaited.
