Rajkumar Hirani on 3 Idiots sequel

Aamir Khan, R Madhavan and Sharman Joshi's 3 Idiots directed by Rajkumar Hirani turned out to be a classic. Movie lovers are excited to hear about the film's sequel.

Now, speaking to scribes, Rajkumar Hirani shared the update. He said "To be honest, at this moment I am still working on the initial script. It's a very early draft. Aamir has heard and liked it, but we still have to work on it. Abhijat Joshi and I are literally locked up outside Mumbai trying to write it. We should be in a better position to know when we're starting it in the next two months,"

He explained "It's all the same characters. It's like a time leap — what are they doing now? It's 3 Idiots 20 years later. These characters have grown older. They're not in college anymore; they're in their professions, married, with kids, and now we see what happens in their lives,"

He added "I also got to know that it's being called 4 Idiots. I haven't named it that. Honestly, there's no fourth idiot. It's 3 Idiots only, set 20 years later."
