Cocktail 2 Nears Rs 100 Cr Mark in Just 4 Days

Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna’s Cocktail 2 has taken off strongly at the global box office. The Homi Adajania directorial, released in theaters on June 19, 2026, has pulled in an estimated Rs 85.31 crore to Rs 95.60 crore worldwide in just four days according to trade trackers and early studio estimates. The film is drawing strong urban footfall in India and solid numbers from overseas markets, especially among youth audiences. Reports suggest the sequel’s modern take on relationships, stylish visuals and chartbuster music are driving repeat audiences and steady weekday collections.
The box office breakdown shows steady momentum day after day. After opening at Rs 13.5 crore on day 1, Cocktail 2 collected Rs 16.25 crore on Saturday and Rs 17.75 crore on Sunday in India. On Monday it added Rs 6.35 crore net across 9,785 shows, taking the India net total to Rs 53.85 crore and gross domestic collection to Rs 64.56 crore. Overseas gross stands at Rs 20.75 crore with Monday contributing Rs 1.50 crore. With Rs 85.31 crore worldwide gross already in, the film is now just a few crores away from the Rs 100 crore mark.
Despite competition from new releases like Bobby Deol’s Bandar, Hollywood’s Obsession, Imtiaz Ali’s Main Vaapas Aaunga and Vikram Bhatt’s Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past, Cocktail 2 has held strong. Trade analysts note that the absence of another major Bollywood urban drama this week and positive word-of-mouth for the lead trio’s chemistry are helping the film maintain show occupancy. The original Cocktail released in 2012 starring Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan and Diana Penty became a cult hit, and news reports suggest the sequel is successfully tapping into that nostalgia while appealing to Gen Z viewers.
Directed by Homi Adajania, Cocktail 2 marks the first big-screen pairing of Shahid Kapoor with Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna. The trio’s performances plus a contemporary soundtrack are being highlighted in audience reviews as key pull factors. With weekend screens still holding and no big Bollywood release lined up immediately, industry reports expect Cocktail 2 to cross Rs 100 crore globally by mid-week and continue a profitable run through its second weekend.
