Rajinikanth busy creating comedy. Super Star Rajinikanth is currently busy with films like Coolie and Jailer 2. Jailer 2 happens to be the sequel to his hit film Jailer and is progressing at a brisk pace under the direction of Nelson Dilip Kumar. Coolie in the meanwhile is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

Coolie is racing for a grand release on 14 August 2025 and Rajinikanth already wrapped the shoot and is now concentrating on Jailer2. Now inside talk is the film's shoot is in full swing and Nelson Dilip Kumar is canning comedy sequences. The shoot is in full swing with Rajinikanth, Ramya Krishna and the actor playing the role of his grandson.

Anirudh Ravichander is the music director for the film which is bankrolled on Sun Pictures banner. The film features Mohanlal and Shivarajkumar in powerful cameos.

Plans are on to release the film during Summer 2026. Nelson Dilip Kumar is planning to wrap Rajinikanth's part in another 10-20 days.
