UP CM Yogi announces Kannappa release date. Manchu Vishnu's devotional entertainer Kannappa directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh is generating interest among movie lovers. According to the latest, the makers announced the film's new release date.

The film will now be released on 27 June 2025. Manchu Vishnu met UP CM Yogi Adityanath and he released the film's release date. He shared "Met one of my favourite Hero Sri. @myogiadityanath ji. The film showcases the journey of Kannappa, devotee of Lord Shiva on the silver screen. The film stars Manchu Vishnu, Preity Mukundhan in the lead roles while Mohan Babu,, Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Kaushal Manda, Rahul, Madhu, Devraj, Mukesh Rishi, Brahmanandam, and Madhoo are playing important roles.

Prabhas,Akshay Kumar, Kajal and Mohanlal are playing cameos in the film for which music is tuned by  Stephen Devassy and Mani Sharma. The film is produced on 24 Frames Factory and Ava Entertainment.
