Madhavan Nayanthara and Siddharth Film Test

The trailer for the upcoming Tamil sports drama, Test, is out now, and it promises to be an emotional roller-coaster ride. Directed by S. Sashikanth, the film features a stellar cast, including R. Madhavan, Nayanthara, Siddharth, and Meera Jasmine. 

The story revolves around the lives of three ordinary individuals whose paths intersect with sports as the backdrop. The trailer showcases how the lives of these individuals, played by Madhavan, Nayanthara, and Siddharth, entwine as they chase their passions.The film's narrative is centered around cricket, but it extends beyond the sport, exploring themes of love, family, and perseverance. 

Madhavan plays a scientist struggling to mount his project, while Siddharth is a seasoned batter. Nayanthara, on the other hand, plays a woman craving to become a mother. The trailer promises an emotional and intense ride, with the characters' passions and struggles taking center stage.

Test is Netflix's first Tamil original film to release this year, and it will be available in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. The film's music is composed by Shakthisree Gopalan, who is making her debut as a music director. Notably, Test also marks Meera Jasmine's return to Tamil cinema after a decade-long hiatus. The film is scheduled for a direct-to-streaming release on Netflix on April 4, bypassing a theatrical release.
