Dia Mirza demands apology from media to Rhea Chakraborty over CBI cleanchit.Right after the CBI filed a closure report regarding Sushant Singh Rajput's case in the Mumbai court, acquitting actress and Sushant's girlfriend going on record that there was no foul play and his death was natural, Dia Mirza, demanded an apology from everyone and media for the mental agony and the trail they conducted through their discussions convicting Rhea Chakraborty.

She posted "Who in the media will have the grace to put out a written apology to Rhea Chakraborthy and her family? You went on a witch hunt. You caused deep anguish and harassment just for TRP's. Apologise. That's the very least you can do (sic)."

Pooja Bhatt also shared her thoughts with the message  "The CBI’s March 22, 2025, closure report confirms Sushant Singh Rajput’s death as suicide with no foul play, clearing #RheaChakraborty and others. The truth has prevailed #Prayers answered (sic)."

Satish Maneshinde,lawyer of Rhea Chakraborty said "The CBI has filed a closure report in connection with the death of Sushant Singh Rajput after almost four and a half years. We are grateful to the CBI for having thoroughly investigated every aspect of the case from all angles and closed the case. The amount of false narrative in social media and electronic media was totally uncalled for. Innocent people were hounded and paraded before the media and investigative authorities. I hope this does not repeat in any case."
