Razor movie Actor Ravi Babu played the role to perfection. He came up with the serious expression that is required for his role in the film. He showed good body language and screen presence to elevate the scenes. He performed intense action sequences with ease.

Tanish and Inaya Sultana are ok in their roles. Others performed according to their roles. The small girl did well showing good emotions.

Razor movie story is penned by Ravi Babu. Expectations will be high as Ravi Babu came up with films like Allari, Nachavule, Nuvvila, Anasuya and Amaravathi. He started the narration in a predictable manner with the chief minister's assassination and the other events that unfold. The story lacked novelty and his screenplay assumed the tried and tested format.

He included intense action sequences and loaded with with extreme violence and gory scenes. One gets a feeling that Ravi Babu decided to come up with the most violent film in Telugu after Nani's Hit3 drawing inspiration from films like Marco and Kill.

Except for the action sequences, everything turns monotonous and routine. The only saving grace is he included usage of technology in tracking the clues and merging of the videos to prove the sinster design of the criminals. Ravi Babu's screenplay and direction offered nothing new. While the first half though predictable is racy, the second half loses steam during the flashback episode.

The background score added value to the narration. It is thumping and helped in maintaining the intensity levels. The Cinematography is in sync with the story and the Narration. Editing is quite good except for few scenes in the second half. Dialogues are ok and production values are fine. Stunt choreographer deserves compliments for the intense action sequences.

Razor (2026) Movie: Rating Analysis

Altogether, Razor turns out to be routine violent actioner. Ravi Babu who acted and directed the film, came up with a predictable story but added few interesting twists and turns. However, this diddnot cover all the loopholes and illogical scenes in the film. Had he taken due care with the story and reworked on the script rather than concentrating on increasing the violence in the content, things would have been different. The routine story, predictable screenplay undid his good intentions. Considering all these aspects, Cinejosh goes with a 2/5 rating for Razor.
