Will DMK-AIADMK come together?

Will DMK-AIADMK come together? During the last few days rumours spread like wild fire that DMK and AIADMK will come together and prevent Vijay's TVK from forming the government in Tamil Nadu. Rumours spread that DMK and AIADMK by aligning will not only shock TVK but also the two national parties BJP and Congress. DMK and AIADMK rubbished these rumors saying it was the cheap work of TVK.

But this will never happen even in their dreams as even in local elections they never supported each other even directly or indirectly. Only when it comes to Tamil Pride and Dravidian ideology, they unite.

In 1972, Karunanidhi's DMK expelled MGR and following that he launched AIADMK and shocked all saying DMK became corrupt. From then on both parties fought against eachother and it they unite, their ideologies will be vanished.

Over many decades, DMK and AIADMK ruled the state and if they unite, 80% of their vote bank get confused and it will provide a golden opportunity for Vijay. Not only the top brass, even cadre of the parties fight bitterly.

During Janata Party time, to remove Indira Gandhi, efforts were made to unite DMK and AIADMK but the talks failed at the last moment. From then on they turned bitter enemies. During Karunanidhi and Jayalalithaa time, their rivalry reached new heights. For their identity they will never join hands even in their wildest dreams.
