Nampally Court important announcement in Allu Arjun case. It is known that Allu Arjun appeared virtually for his hearing at the Nampally Court over the Pushpa The Rule stampede incident and his subsequent arrest. As Allu Arjun's interim bail ended today, he decided to appear virtually while his lawyer Niranjan Reddy appeared in person in the Nampally Court. Allu Arjun decided to appear virtually due to security concerns.

However even as they came fully prepared, a key development took place and Nampally Court postponed the hearing of the case. Government Public Prosecutor sought time to file a counter in the case and following the request, Nampally Court postponed the case to Monday.

The High Court bench while hearing the case., Justice Sridevi ruled that the Sections the actor was booked under — 105(B) and 118(1) read with 3(5) of the BNS — included culpable homicide and voluntarily causing grievous hurt, were not applicable in this case. The judge noted that Arjun could not be prima facie held responsible for the stampede, as he had attended the event after obtaining the requisite permissions.

She also made it clear that Arjun’s fundamental right to life and liberty could not be overlooked.
