Ranbir Kapoor on Animal and Ramayan.Ranbir Kapoor is renowned for his breathtaking performances. He stole the hearts of all with his intense and impactful performance in the action flick Animal directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Now he is busy with his upcoming entertainer, Ramayan and also, all eyes are on his Animal Park, the sequel to Animal.

In the meantime, Ranbir speaking about Ramayan said the film would be shot in two parts. Sai Pallavi is playing the role of Goddess Sita while Ranbir is donning the role of Lord Ram. He said “Just to be part of that story.. I’m so humbled, to be playing, essaying Ram’s role. You know, it’s a dream for anyone and especially for me. And it’s a film that has everything. It teaches what Indian culture is about, it teaches you good versus evil, family dynamics or husband-wife dynamic. So I’m very, very excited about that.”

Ramayan Part 1 will be releasing on 2026 during Diwali. Ramayan is directed by Nitish Tiwari.

Speaking about Animal and his next the sequel, Ranbir surprised saying Animal will of three parts and it will not end with Animal Park. Speaking about his role,he said “There is a lot of risk involved in this. My image in cinema is somewhat different. But I like taking risks. Always being safe creates a kind of boredom. I have taken a risk in Sandeep Vanga Reddy's Animal."

He added "As an actor, this script was challenging. Till that time my image was that of a romantic hero. But I accepted the risk. When I saw the film Animal, I was surprised to see myself.”

Ranbir is also starring in Love and War under the direction of Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
