Naga Chaitanya, Sai Pallavi's 'Thandel' is one of the much awaited film aof the year. Makers are carefully building buzz around the film right from its announcement. The film, which is currently in production under the direction of Chandoo Mondeti is bankrolled by Bunny Vaas in the presentation of Allu Aravind.
The latest development about the film resonates the hype surrounding the film. As per latest confirmed reports that the OTT Streaming giant Netflix has reportedly shelled Rs. 40 crores to acquire the digital streaming rights of the movie for all South Indian and Hindi languages. This is the highest amount ever quoted for the OTT rights for any Naga Chaitanya movie to date.
Thandel is said to be inspired by a real-life event that occurred in the Srikakulam region. The intense lovestory features Naga Chaitanya as a fisherman, with Chay making extra efforts by undergoing rigorous changes in his body. The film directed by Chandoo Moleti also has Sai Pallavi playing the lead role which makes it her second film with the actor. The duo had previously starred alongside in Sekhar Kammula’s film Love Story with their chemistry being highly praised
In addition to the lead cast, Priyadarshi also plays a significant role in Thandel. The film will have a music composed by Rock Star Devi Sri Prasad. Thandel will hit the screens on December 20, 2024.
