Tiger 3 Registers Biggest In Salman Khan Films

Salman Khan's spy actioner, third installment in Tiger franchise, Tiger 3 released yesterday, November 12. This Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's starrer has had a great start at the box office. The spy-thriller, which is the third instalment in the Tiger franchise and the fifth instalment in the YRF Spy Universe has collected over Rs 44.5 crore on day 1 in India across all languages. 

In addition to Hindi, Tiger 3 has also been released in Tamil and Telugu. Tiger 3 registers biggest opener in Salman Khan's films with Rs 43 Crores followed by Bharat with Rs 42 Crs, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo with Rs 40 Crs, Sultan with Rs 36 Crs and Tiger Zinda Hai with 34 Crs. 

It is expected that the total collection from Hindi can be around Rs 39 crore, and from Tamil and Telugu, it can be around Rs 3 crore. While coming to the global market, Tiger 3 is expected to add another Rs 40 + Crores from Overseas markets taking its total Day 1 to Rs 90 + Crs. 

The film sees Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif reprising their roles as Avinash and Zoya, respectively. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, 'Tiger 3' is produced by Aditya Chopra. The film has cameos by Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan. Emraan Hashmi played the role of antagonist.
