SS Rajamouli.... No prefixes or adjectives needed to introduce him. Infact no introduction is needed. He is the face of Indian Cinema in current times. Rajamouli hoists the flag of Indian Cinema at a global level not only by earning an Oscar for his film but also makes west go wild for his imagination. There were many legends of Indian Cinema in the past who brought recognition to Indian Cinema but, Rajamouli brought popularity.

SS Rajamouli was born in film related family where his father is a writer, director and his brother is a music director. Usually he develops interest towards films and started with directing serials for TV. His first film as a director, Student No 1 starring NTR was also supervised by senior director K Raghavendra Rao. That's why even that film became a huge blockbuster, Rajamouli didn't got much fame as a director.

But, his second film with NTR, Simhadri unleashes the creative beast in commercial cinema called SS Rajamouli. The way he build the emotion in the film elevating Hero NTR's image and perfectly utilising his merits to deliver a adrenaline rush while watching the film is outstanding. Then he made sports based film, SYE which is a rarity in Telugu with Nithiin. As his fourth film, SSR collaborated with Prabhas for Chatrapathi which created a box office explosion with its powerful action episodes and heartwarming mother sentiment.

For his fifth film Rajamouli joined forces with Ravi Teja and delivered a blockbuster in the form of Vikramarkudu. He then collaborated for the third time with NTR for his sixth film Yamadonga which is a socio fantasy film. Rajamouli got involved full-fledged into VFX with this film. Then he made Magadheera with Ram Charan with highest budget at that time. The film emerged as mighty success at the boxoffice and the whole nation looked at him for what he has created in a regional cinema. 

From Magadheera, Rajamouli entered another league and keeps on raising the bar of high standards with each passing film. He made Eega with housefly taking revenge. He won accolades nationwide for his stunning work in Eega. Then SSR take a huge plunge and made Baahubali 1 & 2 which redefined the Indian Cinema boxoffice. While Baahubali 1 collected Rs 800 Crores gross the second part went on collecting Rs 1800 Crores which is a record with huge margin. The whole world started looking at the Indian Cinema with Baahubali.

After stupendous success of Baahubali, he made RRR as a fictional story of real characters. He chose two regional superstars NTR and Ram Charan as his leads. The film got postponed due to COVID but after its release it catches like a wild fire and the entire world from USA to Japan embraced and celebrated it. The film also won Oscar for Best Original Song, Naatu Naatu which is a regional Telugu song. Now, Rajamouli is planning evern bigger with Superstar Mahesh Babu. The world is waiting for his next.
