Kannappa: Manchu Vishnu shares surprising development

Manchu Vishnu is coming up with a film titled Kannappa at pan India level. The project was launched in style and is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh. Manisharma and Stephen Devassay score music while the cinematography taken care of  by Sheldon Shau.

Expectations soared when it was revealed that Pan India Star Prabhas will be playing the role of Lord Shiva in the film. In the meantime, Manchu Vishnu today made a startling revelation. Female lead Nupur Sanon opted out of the project.

Sharing the details, Manchu Vishnu posted "Sad to announce that lovely @NupurSanon had to step down from #Kannappa due to scheduling conflicts. We'll miss her, but the hunt for our new leading lady begins! Sending Nupur our best wishes on her other commitments. Hope to work with her in the near futureExciting times ahead. Kannappa had been the dream project of Prabhas' uncle Krishnam Raju but he couldn't realise it in his life time and now Manchu Vishnu is doing it and he is also casting Prabhas in an important role.
