Jewellery shop burgled

Tirupati, Oct 21: A Jewellery shop in Madanapalli near here was burgled on Tuesday night.According to the police, the Jewellery shop owner lodged a complaint saying that on Wednesday morning he found the lock broke open and gold and silver articles missing.The theft came to light when the shop owner reached the showroom in the morning and found the shutters broke open and cash missing.

In a complaint lodged with Madanapalli police, the shopowner said that the Jewellery and cash to the tune of Rs 13.5 lakhs was missing from the shop.Police have formed special teams to probe into the case. They suspect some inter-state gang involvement in the Jewellery theft case
