Amitabh To Play Key Role In Thalaivar 170

Superstar Rajinikanth and Big B Amitabh Bachchan share a deep friendship. Both is them speak about each other in a very high regard. The two stalwarts are set to reunite on the screen after 32 years. The two who have shared screen space in films like Hum, Andhaa Kaanoon and Geraftaar, will be seen sharing the screen space after almost 32 years with the upcoming film titled Thalaivar 170.

Rajinikanth has recently wrapped up shooting for his next release Jailer and is currently taking part in the filming of Lal Salaam directed by his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth. Rajini is doing a key role Moideen Bhai in this Mumbai based cricket sport backdrop film. After these two films, Rajinikanth is doing a film with Jai Bhim fame director TJ Gnanavel as Thalaivar 170. 

The film will be bankrolled by Lyca Productions. Reports suggest that Rajinikanth and Amitabh will be joining hands after almost 32 years. Big B will play an important role in Thalaivar 170. Earlier, reports were rife that the role was earlier offered to Hero Vikram. Thalaivar 170 will go to floor later this year.

Rajinikanth is playing the role of Muthuvel Pandiyan in Jailer. The film has a huge cast consisting of Tamannaah, Priyanka Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Jackie Shroff, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan and others. Malayalam actor Mohanlal will also be seen for an extended cameo. Jailer releasing on 10th August, 2023.
