RRR Unbeatable Run In Japan

SS Rajamouli's Periodic Action spectacle 'Rrr' stearing Ram Charan & NTR created history with 'Naatu Naatu' song at the international award arena. The film has won some of the most prestigious awards in the entertainment industry. At the same time the film is breaking all the records at Box office. Not only in India but also in Japan making history by crossing JPY 1 billion in Japan (Rs 61.85 Crs) The film surpassed this historic benchmark on its 122 nd day.

This makes it the first-ever Indian film to achieve this milestone in the country. Earlier Superstar Rajinikanth starrer Muthu was the highest grossing Indian film in Japan for more than two decades with JPY 400 million.  Rrr after crossing 1 Billion mark The film is still going strong. The movie is not only breaking the Box officer record but it is also getting recognition in Japan. Rrr has been nominated for the esteemed "Best Foreign Language Film" category at the 46th Japan Academy Film Prize, alongside Hollywood films like Top Gun: Maverick, Spider-man: No Way Home, Avatar: The Way of Water, and CODA. The announcement of the winners is scheduled for March 10th.

It also registered a record number of footfalls with 6,33,406 admits in Japan. The film has grossed over Rs. 1200 crore worldwide during its theatrical run.
