Amitabh recollects how he was branded camel

Big B Amitabh Bachchan enjoys international acclaim and stature. However, during his initial days, he was rejected and insulted by many filmmakers. Amitabh Bachchan recollected and incident and shared that once he was branded as camel and called Unnt in Hindi.

Amitabh Bachchan posted “When I came to join films in 1969 all of them used to call me ‘ऊँट’ (unnt) ! .. so I thought I would justify that and mounted one 🤣🤣. This is from my 2nd film ‘Reshma aur Shera’ .. location Pochina , miles into the desert beyond Jaisalmer ..Now fortunately they don’t call me that … the titled epithet has been usurped by several others,".

Sharing the picture from his second film  ‘Reshma aur Shera’. The film starred  Waheeda Rehman, Vinod Khanna, Raakhee, Ranjeet, and Amrish Puri in important roles under the direction of legendary Sunil Dutt. Currently Amitabh Bachchan is starring in the remake of The Intern and also in Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani's Project K.
