Worries over Varasudu runtime

Thalapathy Vijay's Varisu is released in Telugu as Varasudu. While the Tamil film is releasing on 11 January 2023. The Telugu version is having a delayed release on 14 January due to other biggies like Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veerayya and Balakrishna's Veera Simha Reddy.

Varisu is a feel-good romantic family entertainer and has all the elements to become a Sankranti winner. In the meantime, many are however wondering whether Varisu runtime turn out is a worrying factor. The film's runtime is a little over 2 hours 50 minutes and for a feel-good family entertainer it is too lengthy.

Family entertainer often has few routine, redundant elements that may test the patience of the viewers. People are wondering whether ace producer Dil Raju who is known for his judgment erred in the runtime. Only time will tell, whether Dil Raju's judgment over the film's runtime is right or wrong.
