Rana's Hiranya Kasipa changing hands

Rana is known for his powerful and riveting performances. However, he failed to cash into the craze he got with his powerful performance as Bhallaladeva in Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali. Though he starred in different genre films like Nene Raju Nene Mantri,Aranya, Virata Parvam, he failed to reach the next level of stardom. He recently thrilled his fans with his performance in Pawan Kalyan's Bheemla Nayak.

Currently, he is starring in a web series Rana Naidu along with his uncle Venkatesh. Now speculation is on over his mythological project Hiranya Kasipa announced a longtime back by Gunasekhar. Inside talk is the project is changing hands. Sources say during the Bheemla Nayak shoot, Trivikram and Rana discussed about Hiranya Kasipa and sources say that Trivikram came up with a better line and plot that excited Rana and Suresh Babu.

Thus they decided to hand over the responsibility of helming the project to Trivikram Srinivas. Gunasekhar's dues have been settled with immediate effect. Sources say while Gunasekhar penned scenes regarding Hiranya Kasipa and Prahlada, Trivikram used his creativity and penned a different storyline. The project will be bankrolled on Haarika Hassinnie creations. Trivikram is currently busy with Mahesh Babu's project and right after that, he will direct Allu Arjun and then take up Hiranya Kasipa.
