Chiranjeevi's meeting secrets out

Mega Star Chiranjeevi ahead of his meeting with AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy to discuss the problems faced by the film industry, held a meeting with various celebrities that included top producers. Those who attended the meeting at Chiranjeevi's house included Suresh Babu, Damodara Prasad, Yarlagadda Supriya, Vamsi, Pramod, Dil Raju, Nagarjuna, Koratala Shiva, VV. Vinayak and others.

It is coming out that Chiranjeevi gave a strong warning to the producers in the meeting. He asked the producers not to charge the Virtual Print Fee (VPF) from the distributors. Inside talk is the digital service providers are charging a whopping Rs 25000 to Rs30000 as rent from the distributors, even though they are taken on rent or owned by the theatre owners. A source reveals that Chiranjeevi asked the producers not to charge the rent on the producers but should take it from the theatre owners.

Buzz is while Allu Aravind and Dil Raju agreed to Chiranjeevi's diktat, others like Suresh Babu and Sunil Narang told that they will inform him in a week. Chiranjeevi also discussed the ticket rates in the theatres. A source reveals “When we book anything online, we are supposed to get a lesser price, but for the ticket prices they are charging nearly Rs 30 extra on tickets. He asked if it should go to the distributor instead of giving it to somebody else. So, he asked to reduce it,”
