Dasari Narayana Rao was one the strongest pillars and a father-figure personality for the Tollywood. The untimely demise of such big statured personality left a deep void in the Telugu industry. The million dollar question was who would get into shoes of Dasari Narayana Rao. While the industry was sulking, Megastar Chiranjeevi took the reins and tried to make his presence felt in the tinsel town. While many assumed him as a perfect replacement for Dasari Narayana Rao, Chiru no longer pulled it off.
Chiranjeevi’s Double Standardness
Sye Raa star recently announced that he is starring in the remake of Malayalam film Lucifer Telugu remake. Tamil director Mohan Raja has finally come on board to helm the project. Prior to this, filmmaker Sukumar, Saaho Sujeeth, then VV Vinayak to KS Ravindra, all these names were considered before locking Mohan Raja. The big question arises is when we have home-grown talent who have given both commercial and critical success, what is the need for Chiranjeevi to hire people from outside.
When Chiranjeevi came forward to fill the gap of father-figure personality, is this the way one behave with ones own industry people? Doesn’t it reflect Megastar’s double standardness? What is your opinion folks? Let us know your opinion in the comments section below.
