Amala Paul attained superstardom by romancing Mega Power Star Ram Charan in Nayak and Stylish Star Allu Arjun in Iddarammayilato. When many expected her to reach the next level of stardom, she surprised all by breaking the hearts of many, by falling in love and marrying Kollywood director AL Vijay.

However, they couldn't get along as differences crept and parted ways. Amala Paul is now surprising all by doing bold films like Aame on return. Now AL Vijay's father AL Azhagappan made shocking revelations about the divorce of Vijay and Amala Paul.

He said Superstar Rajinikanth's son in law Dhanush was responsible for the divorce saying Amala Paul decided to quit films after marriage but Dhanush signed her in his production venture Amma Kanakku and then started acting in films which resulted in the rift between her and his son Vijay.

Amala is currently busy with films like Ado Andha Paravai Pola, Aadu Jeevitham, Cadaveer and also starring in the remake of Lust Stories in Tollywood.
