Sankranti festival witnessed bitter Star wars between Super Star Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru and Stylish Star Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramloo. Both the stars and makers of these two films right from the start fought bitterly for supremacy at the box office. They were adamant on the release date which for resolved only by the Telugu Producers’ Guild. When many expected the war to end, it very snowballed into a bigger one.
