Is This Why Mega-Maverick Project Shelved?

Not only fans but movie lovers would have been thrilled and excited had Mega Star Chiranjeevi and Maverick Director Ram Gopal Varma teamed together for a sensational project.

Many dreamed of such combo ever since Ram Gopal Varma created a sensation with films like Shiva, Kshana Kshanam, Rangeela, etc. But now people get scared of thinking of such combo as RGV lost his sheen long time back.

However, inside talk is Ram Gopal Varma longtime back readied a story for Chiranjeevi and the makers even shot two songs for the same. But after some time, Chiranjeevi who had his own doubts on the project asked RGV to make some changes. But everyone knows RGV will not have any of such things and have his own ways and did not heed to Chiru's suggestions. So the project got shelved in the middle.

Many rumors spread at that time. Buzz is the film was titled 'Vinalani Vundi' with Tabu being the heroine. Ashwini Dutt was the producer of the film. The songs were used in Chiranjeevi, Soundarya's Chudalani Undi.
