Second half of Veny Mama is completely contradictory to the highly entertaining first half. The film is promoted as an emotional entertainer with Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya’s rocking chemistry as major USP.
But, it seems, Naga Chaitanya is doubtful about how audience receive the surgical strike episode. It is known that, Venky Mama’s last 40 minutes will have army backdrop and Chay leads a team to carry out surgical strike on a terrorist camp.
Although Chay is personally happy with the outcome, he seems to be uncertain how movie buffs will receive this episode. “I don’t know how the surgical strike episode will be received, but it according to me is one of the best parts in the film. In fact, Samantha liked the second half more than the first half,” said Chay.
Talking about unique facet of the film, Chay says, “Mama, Alludu’s unconditional love, their bonding and sacrifice is definitely a unique point. It will have a bigger reach if real life mama and allude act together. And it happened for Venky Mama.”
Naga Chaitanya affirms he likes realistic film than the commercial entertainers. But, he makes sure there are commercial ingredients in all his films. He says the film with Sekhar Kammula is close to his heart.
Chay made his mind to work with only experienced directors for now. Clarifying the same, he states, “Yes, I want to work with experienced directors for now. But, that doesn’t mean that, I’m averse to work with first timers. If I like any script, I’ve no qualms in working with a debut director.”
Naga Chaitanya will be working in a multi-starrer Bangarraju with his dad. The film which is prequel to Soggade Chinni Nayana will be helmed by Kalyan Krishna Kurasala. Chay also lied up a film under Dil Raju’s production.
